As licenced Makaton Trainers we are delighted to be able to offer Makaton Signing for Babies and Families in Helensburgh.
Makaton Signing for Babies and Families is a course specifically designed for families and carers of babies and young children. The signs and symbols in this course are the most relevant vocabulary that we use every day with our babies and toddlers. Learning the most relevant vocabulary means we really focus on the signs that we can use easily everyday, making them much easier to integrate into daily life meaning both you and your little ones will be signing confidently in no time!
This course is delivered in a fun and interactive way, with lots of songs, stories and activities. Not only will you walk away with 130 relevant signs and symbols, you will also have a bank of fun, engaging ideas and the confidence to be able to use them immediately with your little ones.
We know that using signs and symbols can be overwhelming when you begin, often leading to you not using them at all; What signs do you start with? How can you integrate it into your day and make it fun for you and the children? Are you even doing it right? We teach you the relevant, everyday language and give you a clear focus of where and how to start integrating signs into your days, building up your vocabulary week by week ensuring that you feel confident with your new skill.
Makaton Signing for Babies and Families is usually delivered to a small group over six sessions of one hour each and costs £60 per person. You are welcome to bring your little ones along so that you can learn together. The course includes the Makaton Signing for Babies and Families pocketbook and a certificate of attendance.
